July 17, 2010: Eagle Scout Matthew Agar-Johnson of Troop 664 in Manhattan and Rich Johnson dropped off a large donation of camping gear for the people of Haiti.
The donation included 40 tarps, 60 tents & 2 cooking grills.

July 12, 2010 : Haiti Relief Fund receives donation from Pastor Davis and the Presbyterian Church of Saint Albans.
July 2, 2010 : Eagle Scout Matthew Strobel of Lynbrook NY delivers 3rd batch of donations for Haiti's earthquake victims from the food drive he organized. Thanks for all your hard work Matthew!
June 14, 2010: Girl Scout Troop 2192 of Long Island, New York dropped off a large donation of gently used clothing and shoes for the earthquake victims in Haiti.
In addition to the donation they also created beautiful handmade pins and magnets they call "Houses for Haiti" which they are donating the proceeds to Haiti Relief Fund for our work in Haiti.

June 17, 2010: Relief container #8 was just sent containing over one hundred thousand dollars of medical supplies and equipment for Haiti and as seen in these photos we still have lots of necessary goods ready to be added to container #9. June 16, 2010: Haiti Relief Fund sent 40 ft. relief container #8 from New York for Haiti today containing over $100,000. of medical supplies and equipment for Haiti
This equipment includes an X-ray machine, a sonogram machine and 6 Incubators amongst other supplies, will make a very big difference in the communities it will be serving.

June 15, 2010: Meet Haiti Relief Fund's youngest volunteer 4 year old Nico Thertus who is the son of HRF's president Carlo Thertus.
Nico is seen here helping pack & sort donations for Haiti, he particularly likes to help with children's goods.

June 14, 2010: Eagle Scout Matthew Agar-Johnson of Troop 664 in Manhattan dropped off a large donation of camping gear for the people of Haiti who are still living in tent cities.
The donation included tarps, tents, cooking grills and cooking pots, all excess equiptment from his fellow members of the troop.

June 13, 2010: Alex Michaels and his wife drove to the Haiti Relief Fund shipping warehouse in New York from Lowell, Massachusetts with a large donated supply of wheelchairs, crutches walker and canes they collected. These will all be put to good use in Haiti, Thank you!
Haiti Relief Fund Receives Large Donation of Medical Supplies
May 26th: Haiti Relief Fund received a very large donation of over $100,000 of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. Amongst the various equipment includes an X-ray machine, a sonogram machine and 6 Incubators. This equipment is greatly needed and will help improve the quality of medical care in Haiti.

May 25th : Haiti Relief Fund sent 40 ft. Container #7 to leave from New York which was filled with various goods donations of food, clothing, medical supplies, toys and various other needs. We are still collecting goods donations as well as monetary donations. Find out how you can help here.
May 22nd: on Sunday, May 16th, ten-year-old Ornichleel Ulysse and her mother arrived at Kennedy Airport in New York from Port au Prince, Haiti. She became a below-knee amputee after being injured in the tragic January 12th earthquake. She spent the week receiving prosthetic care donated by A Step Ahead represented by Philip Kreuter in photo's front right.
In photo back right is Henry Thertus who represented Haiti Relief Fund. Henry served as the interpreter to assist the process for the week while she was receiving prosthetic care, interpreter services donated by Haiti Relief Fund.

May 21, 2010: Liauty "Lee" Elie of St John's University in New York organized a donation drive for the earthquake victims of Haiti along with his fellow students.

May 21, 2010: T-Pain and Chase Entertainment of Oakland, Florida have done it again! They have donated 548 new t-shirt and 264 new hats for Haiti. Many thanks to owner David Abram, his secretary Jessica and T-Pain for their generous donation.
May 19: Eagle Scout Matt Strobel of Lynbrook NY Organized a local Haiti Relief Fund food drive throughout the Elementary Schools of Lynbrook (including West End, Marion Street and Waverly Park Schools). Pictured above from left to right is Carlo Thertus of HRF, Eagle Scout Brendan Dunn and Eagle Scout Matt Strobel. Matt is still collecting within the Lynbrook community and delivered his first round of non perishable food donations (as seen on the right) to Haiti Relief Fund. Thanks for all your hard work Matt!
April 28 : Haiti Relief Fund prepares 40 ft. Container #6 to leave from Miami, Florida. This container was filled with hospital beds, an EKG machine, microscopes and various other equipment generously donated by St Francis Hospital of Willmington, Delaware. Haiti Relief Fund would like to thank St Francis Hospital Hospital for their generousity.
April 27 : Haiti Relief Fund prepares 40 ft. Container #5 to leave from Miami, Florida. This container was filled with 537 of the 3,847 doors Steves and Sons Door Manufactures of San Antonio, Texas and the empty space was filled with boxed donations of food and clothing to make the most of the space on the container. Haiti Relief Fund would like to thank Steves and Sons once again for their generousity.
Cassidy Heide, 16 of Long Island, NY organized a crutches donation drive and raffle for the earthquake victims of Haiti.
Her hard work is an inspiration for young people as she was able to collect over 50 crutches, walkers and a wheelchair which will all be sent to hospitals in Haiti for amputee victims. Thanks Cassidy!
April 16th: Steves and Sons, Door Manufactures of San Antonio, Texas has generously donated 3,847 solid core doors to Haiti Relief Fund to send to Haiti for rebuilding efforts.
Haiti Relief Fund would like to extend a big Thank You to Steves and Sons for their generousity and for playing an important role in rebuilding efforts in Haiti.
March 17th: Haiti Relief Fund Inc. distributed a 40 ft. container of relief goods this past weekend to approx. 3,000 people in Haiti.
A very special THANK YOU goes to Haiti Relief Fund's Staff of Volunteers and Security, the Haiti Police Department and the governments of Dominican Republic and Haiti for helping to make our distribution a success.
March 16th: Thanks to the help of many volunteers, Haiti Relief Fund has been sorting, packing up donations, helping to load the trucks and unloading the goods in the shipping warehouse. These generous volunteers have volunteered their time for the people of Haiti and we would like to say thank you for their time & energy.

March 6th: Container #4 Leaves for Haiti
Haiti Relief Fund has just finished packing up and preparing container #4 to send out to Haiti. This container was filled with food, clothing, medical supplies, tents, crutches, wheelchairs, toys and lots more. Thanks to all the people who generously donated goods, time and/or money to help us help those in need in Haiti.
Container #5 is ready to be filled and is expected to leave next week.

March 5th : Gabel Equipment Corporation has generously donated 4 Generators to Haiti Relief Fund to send to Haiti for rebuilding efforts.
Gabel Equipment Corporation generously donated 4 diesel generators to Haiti Relief Fund Inc. for Haiti. Right now Haiti needs everything so these generators will help play a vital role in rebuilding, for schools, hospitals and community centers. The generators are 250kw, 200kw, 175kw, and 125kw. We are in the process of having them fully maintenanced/serviced before sending them to Haiti.

February 26th : Haiti Relief Fund sends out 3rd Container of Relief goods to Haiti
Haiti Relief Fund and Uniondale Fire Department packed up and sent out a 40 foot container of donated goods for Haiti on a very snowy day in New York.
Special thanks goes to Uniondale Fire Department, Uniondale Fire Commissioner Merv Campbell and Jeane Laurent, Chief of Uniondale Fire Department and all their volunteers for their efforts and support.

February 16th : Lynbrook High School students helping Haiti Relief Fund
Thanks to the volunteers from Lynbrook High School for helping sort New York donations.
Volunteers are needed daily to help sort and pack donations of food, clothing, shoes, medical goods, etc. for Haiti Relief Fund.
Volunteers can drop in between the hours of:
Mon-Fri 12-8pm,
Sat 10-6pm
and Sunday 12-5pm
We receive donations daily and will continue to send donations on an ongoing basis.

February 7, 2010: Chase Entertainment donates over 900 t-shirts to Haiti Relief

February 4th: Haiti Relief Fund sent off a 40 foot shipping container of relief goods for Haiti from Lynbrook, New York.
We would like to thank all of the people in the New York area who so generously donated items for Haiti Relief as well as our New York volunteers who helped us sort and prepare all of the donated goods.
We would also like to thank the village of Lynbrook for letting Haiti Relief park the container at Greis Park while it was being prepared.
Haiti Relief Fund will continue to accept donations at our New York location as we prepare for the next container.
February 3rd: Hansy Thomas received 3 pallets of new shoes from Phoenix Footwear Group in Carlsbad, CA for Haiti Relief in Florida.
January 30th: We are preparing a 40 foot container filled with donated relief goods to leave from New York this week!
